What's the Difference?

What makes a Counter different from a Scoop Shop?

Counters differ from Scoop Shops in that they are operated by our Foxtail partners.
They have limited menu options and a select variety of our homemade signature and featured flavors.

What do you mean by 'limited menu options'?

Our Scoop Shops serve a full menu that includes quarts, brownie sundaes, banana splits, and a wide variety of toppings. The smaller footprint of a Counter does not allow space for the extra ingredients required for these Scoop Shop items. However, they offer sprinkles, whipped cream, caramel and cherries along with exclusive Foxtail specialties: Affogatos, Espresso Milkshakes, and Beer Floats (select Counters).

There are many ways that you can enjoy Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream. In addition to our ice cream shop locations, on almost any day of the week, you can find our Ice Cream Truck parked at public and catered events and food truck round-ups across town.
